Description
Spicy. Crunchy. Yummy. Boring green peas get kicked up a notch with a hot wasabi coating.
Arare is a Japanese rice cracker that comes in many fun shapes and flavors. These perfectly bite-sized snacks are made from glutinous rice and originally flavored with soy sauce, with other popular variations like wasabi and honey glazes. Arare often has pieces of dried seaweed (called nori) sprinkled throughout. Arare is so popular in Hawaii that you can even order it as a topping on popcorn at the movie theaters!
